GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:&lt;br /&gt;

The Director of Social Media is responsible for, but not limited to, the day-to-day operations of the social media team, client relations and business development, social media strategy for clients as well as the company, developing and overseeing all social media initiatives and how those actions will be integrated into the overall strategy and vision, evaluation and implementation of current research and social media technology and trends.&lt;br /&gt;

In addition to the previously described duties, the Director of Social Media is also responsible for overseeing research and Marketing Intelligence initiatives that include: research and analysis around brands, film properties, fandoms, user behavior and trends, detailed client and research reporting, and detailed diagnostics reports and strategic recommendations.&lt;br /&gt;

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&lt;br /&gt;

•	Management and Operations: day-to-day management and operations of the social media and research team&lt;br /&gt;

•	Client Relations: managing client relationships, business development opportunities, and ensure that the client needs are being met&lt;br /&gt;

•	Strategy: develop and execute strategic recommendations based on research data&lt;br /&gt;

•	Research: oversee brand audits, fan audits, competitive analysis, brand perception reports, and any other general research as needed&lt;br /&gt;

•	Analysis and Diagnostics: taking data from research and performance analytics and being able to create reports for our clients that draw conclusions on performance and providing recommendations for campaign optimization&lt;br /&gt;

•	Technology: understand and have experience with appropriate social media and research technology, as well as having the keen sense to identify and evaluate trending research and social media technology&lt;br /&gt;

•	Brainstorms: oversee team brainstorms to help craft Social Media and viral campaigns&lt;br /&gt;

EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE:&lt;br /&gt;

HERE! Dongguan is currently searching for an editor for its monthly community lifestyle magazine. As you can see from the description and responsibilities below, we're looking for someone with a background in journalism, but also a multi-tasker who is well-organized, creative and has the ability to be a team-oriented leader.&lt;br /&gt;

NOTE: This job is in Dongguan, (i.e. near Shenzhen not in Shenzhen)&lt;br /&gt;

Reports to: Editor-in-Chief&lt;br /&gt;

Job Summary: Primarily responsible for the editorial direction, coordination and content of the magazine by conceptualizing/planning issues, researching articles, writing articles, freelancing articles, editing articles, proofing issues, and collecting/coordinating photography and photo shoots with editor-in-chief and photographers. Blogging and social media interaction is also required, along with maintaining a professional presence in the community the magazine serves.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Duties and Responsibilities:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Creating, developing, proofing and editing all editorial content for the publication.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Submitting to the Editor-in-Chief an editorial lineup with story details for each issue of the magazine, on the dates required.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Assigning freelance stories, developing story concepts and managing manuscripts to ensure that they are received in a timely manner and produced to the quality standards associated with the magazine.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Assist the designers by requesting photos or asking freelance writers to request photos on their various stories, and providing art ideas to the art directors.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Write photo captions, deks, and other editorial pieces as needed at layout stage.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Assisting with the final layout of the magazine by proofing and correcting preliminary InDesign documents of each layout, cutting or adding copy where needed, and filling in cutlines and pull quotes where needed.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
• Submitting to the Editor-in-chief an editorial accounting sheet indicating the rate, writer name and article subject matter of each freelancer assignment within 7 days of each issue publication.&lt;br /&gt;

• Appear at appropriate/selected events in the community as the representative for HERE! Dongguan Magazine and its affiliated products and publications.&lt;br /&gt;

Caixin Media is looking for a Visual Director to oversee art direction and develop the visual identity of its three major titles, Caixin Century and China Reform in Chinese, and Caixin - China Economics &amp; Finance in English.&lt;br /&gt;

JOB SUMMARY:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Visual Director will work to develop the established visual identity of the magazine and all associated products and platforms (including mobile side). He or she will be instrumental in the continued development of magazine, working with the Editor-in-Chief to develop all individual products. The Visual Director will also be responsible for the regular operations of the magazine, as well as management and development of the art team.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Art directing and managing production of Caixin's main titles and their related products (mobile, iPad, etc.) during the regular weekly runs. Involves communicating with editors on how to interpret stories visually, overseeing and improving layouts, producing cover design, and ensuring quality of final product.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Providing creative input for new projects, or improvements on existing products, especially with regard to visual identity.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Developing and monitoring the house style and use of product logos, to maintain consistency across the brand.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Defining design and production standards.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Managing design team, including developing and assessing current staff, or recruiting new staff as necessary.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Recommending freelance designers, photographers and illustrators, and setting policies for working with them.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
JOB REQUIREMENTS:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Must have significant experience in heading or leading an editorial design department of a news magazine.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Must have experience with visual identity and branding design, familiar with bridging editorial and business requirements.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Must have experience working with multiple products simultaneously, and have working knowledge of different editorial platforms (mobile, tablets, web etc.).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Must be very hands-on with both production and design.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
•	Must be a leader. Must work well with a local staff, be able to motivate and train them, and build and improve the team as a whole.&lt;br /&gt;
