The Bookworm International Literary Festival is currently looking for a Programme Manager for the 2011 festival.

Responsibilities include:

• creating program events (booktalks, panels, workshops, etc.)

• scheduling festival events and maintain events schedule

• maintaining and updating schedule to reflect changes and development

• creating programme content for website, newsletter and printed materials

• acting as author/agent liaison, handling all communications & contracts, before, during and after the festival

• managing Schools' Program Coordinator & Festival Fringe Program Coordinator

Candidates should possess the following skills:

• knowledge of festival programming

• ability to generate high level, substantial content

• superior organizational skills and great attention to detail

• ability to contribute creative ideas to team

• ability to work with and communicate with a team

• ability to work under tight timelines and deliver on deadlines

• strong written English skills

• languages: English (fluency required); Chinese (basic level preferred
